Would you drop 9.9K$ for one of these? Yup, Ford actually wanted to make a removable hardtop as an accessory for the SN95 Mustang convertibles but development costs and painting issues forced them to be produced just for the 1995 SVT Cobra. 499 hardtops were made, all in black, out of the 1003 SVT convertibles produced.

I dig it.

Those wheels are pretty bad, but otherwise, despite me not caring about Mustangs, I’d consider this a NP all day long.
I’m a little curious why they aren’t asking for more.

76k miles doesn’t really help it but at that the same time this Mustang is commanding 3-4k$ more than the all the other SN95 GTs and most New Edge GTs in the area. Also, the ‘95 SVT 5.slow pushrod motors lack aftermarket support and power advantage of the modern 4.6L SOHC/DOHC motors. If you’re a collector, then it’s a neat Mustang. If you want to go fast in a blue oval, start with a 4.6L GT coupe and go faster from there with a lower price tag.

did you just claim you can’t find aftermarket performance parts for a 302?

Yes, I did, my bad. Rather put, modular motors are easier to make stupid amounts of power with.

WUT..... a 302 has a plentiful aftermarket and can easily make way more power than a 2v 4.6 unless you go for a crazy all out super $$$ build. Maybe you have the two flip flopped? The 3v 4.6 (2005-10) could make some pretty good numbers as could the 4v 4.6 cobra motors with some FI but honestly the 2v 4.6 is widely know as not being good to modify in comparison to the field day that the 302 was. The 5.4 mod motors can make some crazy power but in general a 2v 4.6 is just not really loved for being cheap speed in the same way as the 302.
